There was a major development this weekend in the dispute between the family of a brain dead teenager and a California hospital.
Jahi McMath, 13, will soon be on her way to a new facility in New York. She left Children's Hospital Oakland Sunday night in a private ambulance.
Jahi must now be hooked up to breathing and feeding tubes before she travels to the new outpatient facility. It's unclear where that procedure will occur.
McMath was declared brain dead following complications from tonsil surgery on Dec. 9. The hospital sought to remove her from a ventilator when doctors said there was no chance of recovery.
