Krauthammer and O'Reilly: How Obama Can Salvage Iraq
The situation in Iraq is worsening as Al Qaeda-linked militants take over key cities. Republicans like Senator John McCain (AZ) and Senator Lindsey Graham (SC) have blasted President Obama for retreating from Iraq.
Tonight on The O’Reilly Factor, Charles Krauthammer said President Obama’s options in Iraq are “all extremely bad.” He told Bill O’Reilly, “He made a terrible decision in 2011 to pull out.”
He also criticized the president for proposing to leave behind a residual amount of troops, who would essentially be left there to protect themselves.
Going forward, Krauthammer predicted that the United States will have to start supporting the non-Islamist rebels in Syria and establish a defensive presence in Jordan.
