Four men have been arrested in connection to a deadly carjacking at a New Jersey mall. Six days ago, 30-year-old Dustin Friedland was shot and killed in front of his wife.

In a press conference on Saturday, the suspects were identified as Hanif Thompson, 29, Karif Ford, 31, Basim Henry 32, and Kevin Roberts, 33. Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said they appear to have been motivated by a desire for the victim's silver Range Rover.

The couple had finished Christmas shopping at the Mall at Short Hills in Essex County. Police say two men killed Friedland in the parking lot before taking off with the couple’s Range Rover. The SUV was found in the town of Newark the next day.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s office reports that in 2013, more than 450 carjackings took place in the county.
