Is the world failing to confront the true nature of Muslim terrorists? Over the past few days in Nairobi, Kenya, a terrorist group linked to Al Qaeda gunned down innocent people at a shopping mall. In tonight’s Talking Points Memo, Bill O’Reilly explicitly said, “The truth is that Muslim jihadists want to kill Christians and Jews.”

O’Reilly said leaders of the world, including President Obama, will not openly acknowledge that fact. “This is simply about murder, and if you are a Christian or a Jew, you are a target.”

The siege in Kenya and Sunday's attack on a Christian Church in Pakistan are examples of the small time terrorism that will become the more widespread all over the world. “They will burn down Christian churches, attack Jewish synagogues and if they can, launch another 9/11,” O’Reilly said.

Christians and Jews aren't the only victims – extremist Muslims have attacked Muslims as well. O’Reilly wondered why the Muslim world isn’t trying to solve the problem. “We are living in a cowardly world and terrorists know it.”

Cliff May, president of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, reacted to O’Reilly’s Talking Points. He cited Jordan as one country where the king has expressed anger at jihadists. However, he said the richest countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran have encouraged terrorism and in some cases have funded it.
