A young Coptic Christian girl was shot dead on her way home from a Bible study class in Egypt. Her killers apparently targeted the 10-year-old because of her religion.

Lisa Daftari joined America Live to discuss the rise in violence against Christians in Egypt. According to Daftari, there’s been a surge in such attacks since President Morsi was thrown from power in June. “Seven Coptic Christians have been killed since … this young girl being one of them, a priest was killed, another merchant was kidnapped from his shop and unfortunately killed,” she said.
