Last night, Greta Van Susteren aired some brand new video of ex-Navy SEAL Glen Doherty, who was killed in the Benghazi attack last Sept. 11.

The footage is from a 2009 NBC reality show called "The Wanted." Doherty's mother gave Fox News permission to air the video because she wants people to see her son's true character.

EXCLUSIVE DETAILS: U.S. Agent's Heroic Actions During Benghazi Attack

Greta sat down with Fox News national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin to discuss Doherty.

"We never get to know these people," Greta pointed out. "There are three others [killed in Benghazi] who I don't even know, who gave their lives. They were over there defending the consulate and annex, and I don't even know them. And as time marches on you sort of lose their names, they almost become one of four murdered."

Jennifer said the lengthy footage gives you a true sense of Doherty's personality, calling him a "true American hero."

Check out the video above, and tune in to On the Record, tonight at 10p/1a ET as Greta takes a special look at the scandals that President Obama referred to as "phony."
