Gutfeld: 'Obama Is Nero, Media Is the Fiddle and America Is Rome'
Is President Obama having power problems? Today on The Five, Dana Perino noted, “The president of the United States is supposed to be the most powerful person in the world, but these days President Obama is being described as anything but.”
Maureen Dowd wrote in The New York Times, “[The president] still hasn’t learned to govern.”
After yesterday’s press conference, critics seem to be questioning whether President Obama can get his agenda through Congress in his second term. Eric Bolling said on The Five, “What’s funny is he blamed Congress in his speech yesterday. [Obama said he’s] not get anything done because of those idiots on the Republican side.”
“But remember Ronald Reagan reached across the aisle?” Bolling continued. “The difference is that was leadership and what President Obama lacks is the leadership to say, they might not agree with me but I’m still going get stuff done.”
Greg Gutfeld charged that the media is setting the stage for Obama’s defeat so they can show how he rose “from the ashes like a phoenix.”
Gutfeld made this analogy: “Obama is Nero, media is the fiddle, and we are Rome.”
