RPT: Authorities Question Saudi National in Boston Marathon Bombings
Catherine Herridge reports that a federal source confirms they are investigating a Saudi national in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings. The individual is a man between the age of 20 and 21, and he is not being described as a suspect at this time. He's in the United States on a student visa and his name does not appear on a terror watch list.
Herridge said this individual is one of many leads being investigated. Boston police maintain that no suspect is being held at a hospital.
There will be a briefing on Capitol Hill tomorrow morning by the National Counterterrorism Center. The NCTC was set up after the September 11th attacks to assess and monitor threats against the United States.
Earlier today, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein said publicly she believed this was a “terrorist incident.”
