Deandre Poole, FAU Professor Who Told Students to 'Stomp on Jesus' Placed on Administrative Leave
Deandre Poole, the professor at Florida Atlantic University who asked students to stomp on the word “Jesus,” has been placed on administrative leave ... but not for the reason you might expect.
The controversial lesson
on symbols garnered national attention after one student refused to stomp on the paper and was subsequently suspended from the class. FAU officials apologized to the student and now Poole has been placed on administrative leave for "safety reasons."

Alternate instructors have been assigned to teach his class. Poole is also the vice chairman of the Palm Beach County Democratic Party.
