Rescue workers are still searching for a man swallowed by a sinkhole in his own home in Florida. Officials fear the worst as the task of getting to Jeff Bush’s body is becoming more difficult with the ground continuing to give way. No one is allowed in the house out fear it may collapse. Several nearby homes have been evacuated as well.

Hillsborough Country administrator, Mike Merrill told the press, “I’ve been told by our outside experts that this site is extremely

unstable. This is not your typical sinkhole. This is a chasm that covers a great distance.”

His brother Jeremy described hearing Jeff’s screams from the bedroom and rushed in to help. When police arrived on the scene, Deputy Douglas Duvall managed to pull out Jeremy who was clinging to the sides, but couldn't find Jeff.
