A seven-year-old boy was suspended for… get ready for it … chewing his pastry into the form of a gun. The boy was eating breakfast provided by the school and said he bit the pastry into the shape of a mountain at first and then into the shape of a gun. Park Elementary School in Maryland suspended him for two days.

Joshua Welch told Fox Baltimore that, “I just kept on biting it and biting it. [...] All I was trying to do was turn it into a mountain but it didn’t look like a mountain really, and it turned out to be a gun.” The school sent students home with a note saying "a student used food to make an inappropriate gesture." They would not comment on the case to FOX45 citing privacy reasons. Hear Joshua's side of the story:
