The uncle of Oscar Pistorius reacted to a chief magistrate granting the Olympian bond today, saying that he and his family are relieved that he'll be able to come home but that they continue to mourn, as well.

"Yes, we are relieved at the fact that Oscar got bail today, but at the same time we are in mourning for the death of Reeva with her family. [...] As a family, we know Oscar's version of what happened at that tragic night and we know that that is the truth and that will prevail in the coming court cases."

Hasina Gori, a local reporter who has covered the story from inside the courtroom since the beginning, offered what insight she could about how Pistorius reacted once he learned he'd be free on bail. While Gori said she didn't get a look at Pistorius' face directly following the ruling, she did say that "a lot of praying was done," and that he looked a lot calmer when he returned to the courtroom.
