Brandon Webb, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, and Jack Murphy, a former U.S. Army Ranger/Green Beret are authors of ‘Benghazi: The Definitive Report.’ The book provides the first inside account of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. Tonight they joined Hannity to reveal the events we didn’t know about that could’ve precipitated the attack.

A State Department report talks about detaining a Libyan policeman who was taking pictures of the consulate on the morning of September 11th, 2012. “There were people planning this attack

ahead of time,” Murphy said.

Beyond the timeline of events that unfolded on September 11, 2012, the authors say there were U.S. operations that may have perpetuated retaliation. Murphy said, “I think one of the big takeaways from all of this is that the State Department didn’t have any visibility on these operations. They didn’t have the wherewithal to even know that this counterattack, that this blowback from other operations was coming.”

Webb said there’s no accountability by the State Department and officials are playing a “political game of musical chairs. He added, “If there’s any bias here, it’s towards the truth.”
