Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who delivered the Tea Party's response to the State of the Union earlier this week, spoke with Bill Hemmer on America's Newsroom this morning about a group of senators that are threatening to hold up a vote on the confirmation of CIA Director nominee John Brennan.

Paul says

he wants the answer to one question.

"I'd like to know if President Obama claims or says or asserts that he has the power to kill an American on American soil with a drone," said Paul.

He said he is all for punishing criminals and terrorists, but "when you're in America, when you get accused of a crime you get a chance to present your (case) in court." Paul said that overall, his point is not about Brennan, but about wanting Americans to hear the answer to his specific question from the Obama administration.
