Scott Brown, a former Massachusetts senator, joined Hannity tonight for his first exclusive interview as a Fox News contributor. Sean Hannity asked Brown why he decided not to run for John Kerry’s vacated Senate seat.

The former Republican senator said he plans on staying involved in the election process in Massachusetts and throughout the country. Brown explained, “To do five races in six years and raise another $30 to $50 million dollars and then go and participate in a Congress that’s really dysfunctional and extremely partisan, I felt I could make a difference being on this show and doing other things.” Check out the clip below to hear Brown's reaction to President Obama's State of the Union address:
