Sen. James Risch (R-Idaho) pressed CIA Director nominee John Brennan on alleged leaks from the White House to the media on counterterrorism operations. The Justice Department has started an investigation into the leaks, which include reports about a U.S. cyber attack on Iran, a terrorist "kill list" and a terror plot that originated in Yemen.

The exchange became contentious as Brennan said, "I live this

every day and night. I go to bed at night worrying I didn't do enough that day to make sure I protect the American people."
