Deadly winter tornadoes are sweeping through the South and toward the Mid-Atlantic. At least two people have died and the National Weather Service reports that tornadoes touched down in six states. The governor of Georgia has declared a state of emergency in Bartow and Gordon counties.

Amateur video captured a funnel cloud in Adairsville, Georgia. One survivor said she only found out about the storm when her boyfriend rushed to save her.
