U.S. Coast Guard: Breathalyzer Tests on NYC Ferry Crew Came Back Negative
Charles Rowe of the U.S. Coast Guard joined Happening Now to describe the latest in the investigation into the New York City commuter ferry crash that injured over 50 people Wednesday morning.
Rowe said that at this time, the Coast Guard is unaware of any weather conditions that would have had any impact on the crew’s ability to dock the vessel.
Initial breathalyzer tests have been conducted on the captain and crew with negative results. Rowe said that the drug test administered will take several days to process.
