Trace Gallagher reported some new details today on America Live about the Steubenville, Ohio, rape case, in which two high school football players are accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl while she was passed out.

He said the lawyer for the alleged victim is now providing the first insights into how the girl has been doing since the alleged August incident. The lawyer said his client remains tormented, often crying about what happened. But she is back in school, performing well in athletic competition and managed to make the honor roll.

The lawyer said the girl's parents found out about the alleged attack when a relative alerted them to the picture of their daughter being carried around at a party while she was seemingly passed out. They also were shown the video of another student joking about the fact that the girl had been raped.
