MUST-SEE VIDEO: Megyn Kelly Gets Flu Shot on Live TV!
You never know what can happen when it comes to live television ... a fact we re-learned today on America Live, when Dr. Marc Siegel sat down with host Megyn Kelly to discuss the flu and what we can do to prevent it.
Siegel began by explaining that the genetic material that comprises the "flu" lives on surfaces, so while you may contract if by getting coughed or sneezed on, you can also catch it
by simply touching a surface that someone else who's infected has touched recently.
Once exposed, the doctor says you will begin to feel the effects of the flu within a day or two; however, you can spread the virus for up to a week, even once you're starting to feel better.
One of the best ways to prevent yourself from contracting most strains? Get a flu shot, Siegel says. And that, Megyn Kelly did. Did she survive? Find out.
