On the eve of Thanksgiving, tens of thousands of people remain out of power weeks after Superstorm Sandy hit. Fox News senior correspondent Eric Shawn reported from Coney Island where thousands of people continue to line up for basic supplies.

While it may be a Thanksgiving without the trimmings this year for so many devastated by the storm, many residents

are still thankful for what they have and the generosity of others. With snacks, paper towels and water in hand, one resident said, “I appreciate all the help that they’ve given us.”

People can pick up a Thanksgiving meal which includes rolls, cranberry sauce, gravy, and a turkey that’s being defrosted for those without heat. City officials say the situation will be ongoing for quite some time.
