On one of the busiest travel days of the year in America, a labor dispute is now adding to the hassle. If you’re traveling out of Los Angeles International airport, good luck catching your flight because one of the biggest unions has picked LAX as their protest site.

Fox News’ William La Jeunesse reported that the Service Employees International Union, or SEIU, was kicked out by Aviation Safeguards after 52 percent of the workers voted to decertify the union. That company contracts with airlines for sky caps, cabin cleaners and security workers.

In protest, SEIU brought in 1,000

union workers to block the two main entrances at LAX. SEIU claims the vote was illegal and that Aviation Safeguards is not paying a living wage under city ordinance.
