There’s growing concern that the fighting between Israel and Hamas is a test run for an even bigger war that would pit Israel against Iran.

Jennifer Griffin reports that the Israel-Gaza conflict needs to be seen in a larger context as it’s with Iran’s help that Hamas has been able to stock-pile the longer range rockets it is currently firing into Israel. Hamas, along with Hezbollah in Lebanon, have been considered the proxy arms of Iran. Israel has long known that if it participates in a strike on Iran’s nuclear program that Iran will use Hamas and Hezbollah to fire rockets into Israel.
