With President Obama's second term comes speculation of a reshuffling of his cabinet. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has already said she will not stay for another four years.

Rice went on several Sunday talk shows, including Fox News Sunday, to assert that the attacks were spontaneous and in response to an anti-Islam video.

Her account was later proven to be false, leading to questions about why she made the statements in the first place.
