Should Congress Have Been Informed About Petraeus Investigation?
On the heels of Gen David Petraeus’ shocking resignation as CIA Director, questions are now emerging about whether any laws were broken since no Congressional intelligence committees were informed about the FBI investigation into Petraeus’ mistress, Paula Broadwell.
Catherine Herridge reported on the issues this morning on America’s Newsroom. She cited a Capitol Hill source as saying the situation was extremely important as an intelligence matter.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), chair of the Intelligence Committee, said on Fox News Sunday that she believes the probe should have been disclosed.
