Bret Baier spoke moments ago about the abrupt resignation of CIA Director General David Petraeus. Baier said that despite questions about the timing of the resignation given that Petraeus was set to testify on the Benghazi attack next week, a source close to the general emphatically stated that the resignation was his request, that he wasn't pressured by the White House, and that it “had nothing to do with Benghazi.” In his resignation letter, Petraeus cited an extramarital affair as the reason he was stepping down.
