It's official -- New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg just announced that beginning tomorrow at 5 a.m. in all five boroughs of New York City and the entirety of Long Island, gas rationing will begin. This will impact the area's approximate population of 10 million people.

Tomorrow, gas will be available to drivers with license plate numbers that end in an odd number; then, even numbered plates can get gas starting Saturday. Only 25 percent of stations are even open in the boroughs currently, and sources say the tight supplies could last two more weeks.
