Following tonight's final presidential debate, Fox News Channel's Chris Wallace provided an instant fact check of the claims made by both President Obama and Mitt Romney.

Wallace looked at several contentious moments throughout the debate, including the exchange in which Romney and Obama went back and forth about a Status of Forces Agreement following the Iraq War. Of this exchange, Wallace said, "It's clear Romney was right, Obama was wrong."

  • He also weighed in on Obama's claims about the military. During a heated moment, the president said, “You mentioned the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military’s changed.”

Wallace pointed out that during the debate, a Marine tweeted Fox News Channel saying that the Marines still use bayonets.
