A day after the deadly attack in Libya that killed US Ambassador Chris Stevens and three of his staff members, demonstrators in Yemen stormed the US embassy in that country. They were chanting ‘death to America’ as they ripped down the American flag and set it on fire.

FNC's Greg Palkot reports in the capital of Sana’a, thousands of protesters were able to get in front of the embassy, while some of them scaled the perimeter walls, broke through the main gate and entered the security building.

Palkot also says that the protesters torched cars, smashed windows and stole equipment before a Yemeni security force was able to get in and fight back. Though unconfirmed, there are reports that most of the US staff members in the embassy have been evacuated. The embassy is now secure.
