Following former President Bill Clinton’s 50-minute speech at the DNC Wednesday night, Brit Hume weighed in on the speech saying "it was too long."

Hume told Megyn Kelly that the viewers at home would not retain all the policy details that

Clinton laid out in his speech, but Hume emphasized, the fact that Clinton talked about them, gives them weight and credibility.

“He speaks of such things, and always has, with command and comfort – and you sensed that he knows what he’s talking about - he’s always been very comfortable with policy detail. So when he packs a speech with that, it adds some weight to the speech… the problem is it adds length, and adds complexity.”
