There are new questions surrounding one of the Thursday night speakers at the RNC, and no – it’s not Mitt Romney. Trace Gallagher reports that there will be a mystery speaker filling a prime slot right before Mitt Romney accepts the nomination. Political experts say that the speech needs to be a ‘showstopper,’ but not so much that it overshadows Romney.

Trace went through a list of possibilities including,

George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, or even former first lady Laura Bush. Sarah Palin is rumored to be on the list as well. On the top 5, though, are Senator Joe Lieberman, former first lady Nancy Reagan, NY Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, and director Clint Eastwood. Also in the realm of possibilities… a hologram of Ronald Reagan.
