Wednesday's installment of The New York Post uncovered an interesting revelation about Mayor Bloomberg's car habits. In photos captured by the publication, a window air-conditioning unit can be seen rigged to the window of the mayor's Chevy Suburban SUV, cooling it down during his time inside City Hall. Apparently the mayor isn't fond of a hot car ... and due to the city's strict 'idling' laws, this contraption seemed like the best way to combat the heat.

Worthy of note - a few summers back, Bloomberg took similar flack for leaving his SUV running idle while he was inside. His camp says this method is much more eco-friendly.
