The Texas father who beat his daughter’s alleged molester to death will not face criminal charges in the case. Heather Childers reports that under the law in the state, deadly force is authorized and justified in order to stop a sexual assault. According to the district attorney, the grand jury did not indict the 23-year-old father on homicide charges because there was overwhelming evidence supporting that his actions were justified in killing Jesus Mora Flores.

In a 911 call placed by the father after the incident, he can be heard saying, “I need an ambulance … This guy was raping my daughter and I beat him up and I don’t know, I don’t know what to do.”

When emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene, Flores pants and underwear were down and all of the witnesses statements corroborated the father’s story.
