GOP lawmakers are furious about classified intelligence allegedly leaked by the White House, even suggesting that the leaks may have been politically motivated. Senator John McCain joined Fox and Friends to speak out on the leaks.

He addressed the fact that Attorney General Eric Holder has appointed two attorneys to look into the leaks, saying that given his handling of the Fast and Furious scandal, Holder lacks credibility. He suggested that a special counsel be appointed who would report to a federal judge. “You’d think the White House would want that just on a credibility issue,” McCain said.

McCain asserted, “I don’t think there’s any doubt that it [the leaks] came from the administration. We need to find out who and what as best we can. And a special counsel is obviously the way to do that.”

“I would think that the person most eager to get this thing investigated would be the President of the United States,” McCain challenged.
