Three minutes after George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin, a photo was taken that some are saying could shed light on Zimmerman’s self-defense claim.

In the photo, you can see that Zimmerman’s head was cut in two places and that there is a welt at the top of his head.

Trace Gallagher reports that the person who took the photo says he did not see the scuffle, but admitted that he heard it.

It has been reported that several people heard the encounter, but the one witness who saw part of the fight said, “The guy on the bottom, who I believe had a red sweater on, was yelling to me, ‘Help, help.’ I told them to stop and that I was calling 911. When I got upstairs and looked down, the person that was on top, beating up the guy, was the one laying in the grass. I believe he was dead at that point.”
