It was another blow for Mitt Romney as Rick Santorum announced a top Romney endorser, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine (R), is now backing Santorum. In a speech, DeWine said he couldn’t continue backing Romney when he knew in his heart that Santorum was the best candidate.

With Santorum by his side, the former senator said, “I firmly believed Governor Romney was the best candidate, had the best chance to beat Barack Obama. I was wrong."

Liz Marlantes from the Christian Science Monitor weighed in on Special Report on these new installments as the candidates head into the Michigan and Arizona primaries. She said all bets are off and things couldn’t be going better for Santorum right now.

Fox News contributor Bill Kristol said people in Washington are going to have to get used to the fact that it’s going to be a two-man showdown between Romney and Santorum. While in Ohio this past week, Kristol said was he surprised by the lack of support for Romney. He noted that DeWine has never met Romney and prior to that endorsement, he was originally a Tim Pawlenty supporter.
