Former South Carolina governor Mark Sanford stopped by Fox and Friends Monday to weigh in on whether Americans can really afford Obama's jobs bill.

Sanford, who was one of the first in the nation to reject government stimulus money during his time in office, said that his

belief that guided his decision then is the same now.

"I fundamentally believed then and believe now ... that you can't solve a problem that was created by too much debt with yet more debt," Sanford said. "We continue to offer the wrong prescription for the debt problem and America's economy."

Sanford also weighed in on the battle still raging between Boeing and the NLRB.

"It's a case of Obama governing Left by appointees and looking the other way," he said.
