Listen to this incredible story out of Mexico. Karla Flores was selling seafood in Northern Mexico when she heard a loud bang and felt something hit her in the face. She was rushed to the hospital where an x-ray revealed that a live grenade was lodged between her upper and lower jaw.

The grenade embedded in her face, but did not explode. The hospital was quickly evacuated because were the grenade to go off, it would kill anyone within 30 feet. Four hospital staff members volunteered to operate on her, took her into a field and set up a mobile unit. For four hours, the surgeon carefully cut around the explosive device, finally got it out, and took it away to detonate it. Flores has scarring and will need more surgery, but she is alive.
