With 100,000 troops in Afghanistan, 45,000 in Iraq, and troops on the ground in Libya, Pakistan, and Yemen, an overwhelming number of Americans think it’s all too much. According to a Pulse Opinion Research poll, 72% of Americans say the U.S. is involved in too many foreign conflicts. Fox News National Security Analyst KT McFarland believes Americans are frustrated because the U.S. isn't prevailing in these conflicts and because our priorities aren’t clear. She says, “When I was in the Reagan administration, Reagan really knew how to set priorities. He had one priority which was to take down the Soviet Union. What are our priorities today?”
